"Build Trust"
From a Logo to a Lived Principle
Last year, I asked Justin Ricklefs and his incredible team at Guild Collective to help me visualize a simple, yet incredibly important workplace culture call to action. The conversation went something like this:
“Justin…can you all help me make the words ‘Build Trust’ stand alone as a call to action…but visualize it in a way that’s compelling and unique?”
Jason Muir ran lead on the design and Guild Collective delivered (as they always do).
I was reflecting on the logo recently and this question came to my mind:
“How do we move a critical call to action from a logo to a lived principle?”
How?
With a deliberate commitment to actualizing the three Building Blocks of Trust:
Competency
Problem solving
Care for Others
Each Building Block of Trust just as important as the others.
All three Building Blocks of Trust working together to create the optimal conditions for trust to be experienced.
Every meeting agenda.
Every decision made.
Every deadline faced.
Every promotion approved.
Every conversation held.
Every policy communicated.
Every voice heard.
Every interview conducted.
Every celebration hosted.
Every conflict addressed.
Every extra-mile effort.
From logo to lived principle.
Every day we have the wonderful opportunity to Build Trust.
